There just was an update to the SDK btw.

But to have ALREADY, 2 Greece civs, then you add to it another Greek city state of Sorts, Macedonia. To me doesn't make sense at all. That is way overkill to me. Persia I can understand. I would really smh at that logic.

Lots of people on Civfanatics complain about making Alexander Greek since he was Macedonian royalty. I think the hair-splitting dates back to propaganda from the modern Macedonian independence movement.

Maybe the tenth achievement is something along the lines you have used a mod from the workshop??

I would be totally ok with this. Persia is the most important Civ that is still missing from the game. It would also be nice to see what they do with Macedonia.

I doubt it since the mods stuff is in the patch and the achievements are for the DLC.

But, wouldn't you agree that to add Macedonia is silly at this point and disappointing?

I don't have prejudices with regards to civ history or size.

I agree that it would be weird - from a historical perspective, it seems barely different from Greece culturally as represented by the game. IMO, if Alexander is included (which he should be, he was awesome) it should be as a third Greek leader... and right now is kind of a ridiculous time to do that, seeing as how no other Civ has more than 1 leader.

Fortunately there are numerous other civs that would pair well with persia in a release, and Macedonia therefore doesn't seem too likely to me.

I think Alexander, whether Macedonia or Greek alternative, should be included in Civ6 at some point but not in the first wave DLC where we have Pericles and Gorgo already. Anywhere else in the world outside Europe would be better for DLC until the first expansion pack.

Didn’t Macedonia wnd Persia exist at the same time in the Ancient eras? Right next to each other either side of Istanbul too?

No patch tonight unless the SDK update was the final build.

Exactly, while I know Alexander should be included, he was amazing, just not right now. Down the line sure, once we get more Asia/Africa/Native American. Im not against them and they might be neat, but not right now please. And hopefully Persia has a unique twist to it, its been really done and over done. Add something unique to them, please

There was earlier. Maybe mac required some fixing (and then more testing)?

I think they wringed a problem out of the 2k build last night and one out of the Mac build this afternoon.
