I am fine with this rule. That prevents firing nukes in order to win. Its your game Knoedel, you have final say.
There are ways to have it start with you by going into worldbuilder and editing python... but in this case it might be easier to just have me start the game? Its still your game, I will just do the launching for sake of ease. I could theoretically launch this evening. Thoughts?

Mkay then, you can launch it, but what do we do about the Admin password?
Seeing as most options are greyed out anyway the only things you can really change are Game Speed and number of turns. I think we are all okay with Epic and for the other thing just enter 999.

Oh you. Don´t you realize that you chose the one civ that has culture pressure with every single other civ? The first half of the game will probably consist of Europa, America and Asia dogpiling you to get the biggest slice of Southern cake.

I would propose to remove the time limit. It's quite simple actually. You just have to edit the file with a text editor (eg notepad) and remove the line that says "MaxTurns=200".

I'm not sure if it won't be the other way around... he is creative, so he has a bonus on culture... besides, if a nation invests in culture is using resources that could be used in Armies... a lot of culture with weak Armies is not (usually) very good...

I suppose we could do that but I seriously doubt that the game will last a thousand turns, especially when we are starting in the future already.
I doubt that +2 Culture bonus will help him much against a Clone army.

OK, game has been launched! The peaceful United Free Empire led by Nighthawk, she of the bountiful lips, has sent the turn via regular email to Eclipse of the Pan-Asiatic Cooperative, or whatever it is.
Settings were as Knoedel wanted, 999 turns, Epic speed. I have also signed into the game on PBEM tracker, but we can start without that. The admin password is the one Knoedel sent to me via PM.

It's too late now, but for the future the host can always start the game with admin password of his choice -- but never play, if it is not his nation. Just Alt F4 as soon as the game asks for password. Make sure you have enabled Autosave and send to the corresponding player Initial Save file. This is always generated for new games (even without autosave) and placed in your pbem/Auto folder...

We didn´t move Our Palace to Moscow to re-enact Red October, you know? The old Tsars had it easy, at least their servants didn´t have an Internet connection.
Our domestic advisor actually had the guts to tell Us Serfdom was too old-fashioned for the 21st century! Speaking of which, you see that nice painting behind Us? Our Court Artist just finished it for Us, first he whined that body paint shouldn´t actually be made from bodies though, but then We told him that it takes a whole lot of guts to say to His Majesty´s face that He is wrong, and suddenly he was a whole lot more cooperative. *sips from a drink* True Story.

The Lady with the hawk head-dress sits on her throne sipping wine... The video message pops up from His Excellency. She ignores it. A few minutes later she toggles her intercom to her secretary.
"Jesus, how did our space mission go?"
Jesus: "Not well madam. As soon as it got into the stratosphere the toxins from the years of pollution ate away at the body of the ship. Let's just say it didn't end well."
Lady: "As I thought..."
Jesus: "But there is some good news!!!! You were again re-elected head of the Empire!"
The intercom clicks silent. The Lady stares forward again thinking. In the background there is a gunshot.
"It was fixed all along, you idiot."

Eclipse the Glorious Leader lays asleep, it is early morning when there is a knock on the Door and an Aid enters calling his name. Eclipse stirs a bit reaching to snooze the alarm but doesn't find one.
The Aid clears his throat and Eclipse opens his eyes, vigorously he rubs his face and sits up.
Somewhere outside he hears chanting but cannot make out what he is hearing, he moves to the window and unlatches it, in a RUSH the Aid tackles him as a gunshot hurls threw the glass and embeds itself in the adjacent wall.
Clambering out from under the Aid he can now hears the chants.
"Your no glorious leader" and "We are sick and Hungry" in succession over and over and over, a rather demoralizing thing to wake to he thinks. He reflects back to last turn contemplating why his people would be so disgusted and is at a loss.
There is another knock on the door and the Aid responds "shots fired" the door then opens and the Asian Foreign Minister low crawls threw the door and toward Eclipse, seeing this Eclipse moves to a safe zone in the room and they meet.
What is going on? Eclipse says. The people are not happy, Song replies. But why? Well if you listen to what they are saying, they are telling you why, said Song.
Anyway I've brought you Good News and handed him an official sealed envelope which Eclipse begins to open, just then a park bench hurls threw the window. Wait, How?, we are on the THIRD Floor ?
After the glass shards settle he begins to read, he looks up at Song and Song smiles in turn. Eclipse looks puzzled and Song says, "Yes the list is accurate and confirmed as of this morning".
Alright then I'll see Chang directly.
