What, exactly aircraft model is being referred to here? Googling, "ugboelu," says it's just the generic Igibo word for, "aircraft," in general. And, it's always an unfortunate tendency across Civ iterations to see several (sometimes many) distinct, different, and often mutual acrimionious, or even antagonist, pre-Colonial civ's jammed into Colonial creations - but I digress.

Based on the tail and wing shape I'd say it's a MiG-17, which were used in the 1967 Nigerian Civil War.
Yes, by Egypt, in their intervention in that war. The Biafra Air Force, themselves, used old WW2 surplus, and the Nigerian Air Force used obsolete RAF hand-me-downs in that conflict.

Indeed Ugboelu just means Jet Fighter.
No, apparently, it means, "aircraft," in general, as a more generic word. I happen to know a Nigerian-Canadian who speaks Igibo as his mother tongue, and will see him again on Monday. I can inquire then.

The MiG-17s were Nigerian, just flown by Egyptian pilots since the Nigerians found them to be too sophisticated for their pilots. The Egyptians did, however, send Il-28 bombers to assist Nigeria.

That makes them no more Nigerian aircraft than the Soviet-piloted MiG-15's were North Korean in the Korean War or the U.S.-piloted F-104's were Royalist in the Laotian Civil War. Especially dubious for a unique unit, especially, also, when Mig-17's were ubiquitous, around much of the world, during the first half of the Cold War.

This however, is a modern unique Nigerian military vehicle.

Very cool but I don't know if we have an appropriate model for that lying around (maybe?)
I'm also loathe to change the components of the original civ, but I take the point that the model of plane is itself not of Nigerian design. The intention was apparently to represent the particular history of the Nigerian Air Force and that has to be done, really, through a unit.

Is what correct, sorry?
Edit: Oh do you mean how it shows more yields when outside your borders? That's from the DLL I think, the Trait flag that is used is not playing completely with the UI code somehow, so it only calculates it on your own tiles. (it's only visual)

I wasn't intending on supporting that, but since you asked:
1. Download the new version I just uploaded
2. Rename (or delete) the .sql files in the Core/ directory that are named for the 2 components you want to remove.
e.g. if you don't want the jet fighter

If a model was for a Soviet BTR-series APC is out there, it could be tweakable from that.

Interesting civ !
How do you think it should be played ? Looks rather versatile with bonuses to science and growth, faith, diplomacy, and XP. Looks like a civilization that wants to expand, yet bonuses to war are not super strong.

Yes my intention was to support an Authority and a Progress opening. In both cases in order to expand big. After the mid game the bonuses shouldn't be prescriptive to a particular victory, so you can pivot towards a victory condition as you feel best. Probably not Cultural Victory, but if you manage to conquer good Wonders/Great Works you can do the Autocracy version, which works best as a pseudo domination where the leader is not themselves going for Culture (often for me that's Austria or Babylon).

In the Progress version I imagine you settle along a River (that map gen hopefully gave you) asap and get the Science from City Connections for a really explosive start. I personally aim for the Temple->Grand Temple infrastructure, but you can adapt depending on the situation. The aim is big faith generation to go Statecraft and use the Envoy UU to dominate the first congress(es).

In the Authority version I imagine you settle toward your neighbor (preferably they have some Marsh tiles) and overwhelm them with an all-in rush strategy (and this will be more supported in an upcoming modmod...). The unique Walls then allow you to annex everything. The aim is big faith generation but now go Fealty and use the Knight UU to attack the next player.
