No downloads, no pictures? WHAT!?

Okay, maybe its my computer but try to help me out...

Any time i try to download ANY file from the forum, nothing happens. I click, wait 10 hours, nothing... Any other download from any other site works fine. Maybe there's something wrong with the file server or something? I dunno.

Secondly, most of the pictures posted in the forum don't show up. It doesn't show the red X like the link is broken. I click on show picture and still nothing.

Anyone got any ideas on what the hell is going on?!

It's gota be your computer as I have never had a problem with seeing the pictures or DL something from here.

Its a new computer and the internet has been acting kinda slower and wierd, but it still functions properly.

And I have Norton 2004 if that matters.

Norton may be the problem.

I can say that for me, the firewall at work blocks virtually all content from the File server for me. Anything on the *forum* server seems fine. So I can see attachments, but not stuff linked on the file server.

I would guess that your problem is something to do with Norton, and/or a firewall. (Do you have the default XP firewall set up? Something different?)

okay its not Norton. I uninstalled/reinstalled and tried everything related to it. Does anyone have any other ideas?

You still have the problem even with Norton uninstalled?

Try running Norton's LiveUpdate to update the program if you haven't already...

yea, i was planning on it.. now its changed...

I forgot to mention i have a router. Could that the problem? I remember i couldn't host Wc3 games without setting up the router to accept that port number...

My friend has a router and I have no problems viewing the images on the site at his house. That could still be your problem though.
