HERE is the download of the C3C reference guide in .pdf format (3.43 MB).

That way you know what the Conquest owners are talking about when they mention things like "curragh", "ToA", "seafaring", "AC / Ancient Cavalry" etc.

And here is a link to CivReplay thread. This tool allows you to look at C3C saves. It can easily be abused (reveal the total map, spot invisible resources early etc.); I trust you all to not do that.

Rik, you should include a link to the CRP Suite or some other comparable program that allows people to read information from C3C saves.

I took the liberty to do some searching for you.

From the following site is the cost of the game:

Amazon: $15.99
Gamestop: $19.99
EB Games: $19.99
Walmart: $19.82

So most stores sell them for 20 dollars.

That how much!

For those without either (really rare case), I suggest you DON'T buy Civilization 3 Complete. A new Civ3 costs only $6 on Amazon, and C3C (which has PTW included) costs $16.

Ainwood's CivAssist can also be used to look at the saves. You may need to install the C3C 1.22 Patch first and move the conquests.biq to your Civilization3 folder. The one discrepanvy I note is that the production tab includes unit costs that are 10 times to big.

You don't need to install 1.22 patch before using CivAssist. You can use CivAssist without having Civ loaded at all.

edit: I now realise what MOTH was saying - you may need the conquests.biq, so if you haven't got C3C at all, the easiest way to do that is install the patch and move the biq.

There has never been a better time if you are a non-Conquests owner. ainwood's new CivAssist II allows you to view the map, make dotmaps, view our military, trade deals, trade options, and genera l info all very easily!

A big note for CivAssist II. You will need to install MS .NET in order to use it.
