I'm not expecting anything until 19:00 CET with the release of the DLC and the patch, with the patch notes an hour later or something, when this forum has already deduced all the changes. As per usual.

In 15 minutes, its the time they normally release a video to youtube if they are going to do one on any given day, so its not impossible they will release the patch notes instead today.

Patch notes in 22 minutes?

Pretty sure that patches have always dropped later in the day, and patch notes usually around the same time. I'd bet around 5 Firaxis time (7 hours from now).

Its true that patch notes tend to appear at the same time as the patch, though last time they did release them the day before, which I would say was an exception for some reason, rather than the norm

Yes. The one month patch, winter patch, and Australian Summer patch all appeared during the night in Europe (evening in the US).

I'd also add for those who are asking for a specific time, that IIRC they were all released at slightly different times.

But iIrc, the previous patch (Spring patch?) didn't. It was released at 7 pm CET.

I think the patch notes don't come out at a scheduled time, but rather drop shortly before the patch itself, and this has been irregular looking at the previous three patches. I think they like to test things up to the last minute, hence we don't have a definite release date/time yet even though release seems imminent.

A pre-prepared First Look video is obviously much easier to release at an exact time.

Correct. It was in the morning in the US. I didn't record the exact time, but I remember it being about 11am EDT.

Prediction: Ed came back from his trip to the boardgame convention yesterday with a cool new game for them to play in the Firaxis office and now no one is getting any work done
