Nuclear AI Stupidity??

Ok, so I built the Manhattan Project as Russians in the WWII scenario. Just as I think I'm about to dominate London with my nuclear attack, I see the Allies attacking (With nuclear missiles) one of my cities.

Is it possible for more than 1 civ to have nuclear weapons? If so, how? Can Manhattan Project be built by more than one civ?

Or is it just an AI STUPIDITY?

Manhattan Project allows ALL civs to build nuclear Weapons, if they have both nuclear fission and rocketry. Apollo Program is also universal, and lets everyone build spaceship parts. Additionally, once the UN is built, contact is established between all civs, but only the builder of the UN gets embassies.

Engineers...lots and lots of engineers. You can order them to clean up pollution.

I very rarely use nukes in my games precisely because it's inconvenient to have to clean up the pollution. But if you decide to use nukes, make sure you have a good supply of Engineers on hand (but out of harm's way) before you drop the bomb.
