Might want to be careful with this. Whoever is elected SecGen gets to control the UN. The 2 candidates for SecGen are the civ that builds the UN and the civ with the largest population. If we build it, the civ with the 2nd largest population will be our opponent. As of my turnset, that would be Tokugawa.Ozbenno said:

Ive played and will post later. Mao and Toky are at war with Cyrus. Toky is tearing through Cyrus. Ive started the UN, but I think we shouldnt build it. Toky is gonna have a ton of land, lets not chance the vote going badly. We dont need to build it. No AI will build it before Time is up anyway.

I interupted 6 builds for 1 turn to get out 3 Hindu and 3 Confused missionaries. They only take 1 turn and it will increase our monies.
I also turn research down to 40%
The hospial finishes in niani and i stop growth as any additional pop wont give us anything.
Our spy peeks at Tokyo..He still at Steam but can build Apollo.
We pop a great prophet. I suggest we save him for an emergency golden age in case Toky attacks...hes getting huge.
Radio comes in....I choose Mass Media

Mass Media comes in, I choose Industrialism for Tanks which after I researched it...I found out that was a waste ....we have no oil. I should have gone for Mech Infantry to protect us from Toky. Hes gonna get mad after he catches a few spies.

I'm am going to spare all of you the mundane details of a turn-by-turn report. Absolutely nothing interesting happened during my turns; unless your name was Cyrus, of course.
I've completed research on both Artillery and Computers. I spent 4500 gold to upgrade all of our Cannons to Artillery. I did not upgrade any units to Mech Infantry. I've built quite a few Infantry and Marines, and a few Artillery, during my turns. We still trail Tokugawa on the power graph, though.
We need to decide what to research next. Plastics would allow us to build the 3 Gorges Dam. Refrigeration and Genetics would solve our health problems. I couldn't decide, so I decided to leave it blank and let the team decide.
We have a Great Engineer. I put him to sleep with our Great Prophet. I'm not convinced that saving these folks for an "emergency golden age" is the right move, though.
Evidently our sabotage activities are irritating Mao. He cancelled open borders on my first turn.
Mao and Tokugawa are still the only ones with Rocketry. Here is a look at their progress on the Apollo Program.
Mao has built the IronWorks in Beijing. He has no iron and I've done my best to keep his only coal source pillaged.
I was shocked when Cabledawg reported that we had no oil. I could find only 3 sources on the entire map.
Vicky has 2 sources and Cyrus is in possession of another source for just a little bit longer. Vicky has no interest in trading with us.
Either Mao or Tokugawa will end up with it if we don't take action. How about this for a plan? Tokugawa will make peace with Cyrus for Communism. We then give another tech to Tokugawa to declare on Mao. I'm not sure which tech we would want to give him, though. But, that should put an end to the space race, at least until Vicky gets Rocketry.

Revolting to environmentalism would solve our health needs. And we have a GE that would help build the 3 Gorges Dam ...
I'd be more inclined for Plastics (to stop Toko or Mao getting 3 gorges).

I played CSS with my mates untill 2 am last night and had classes untill now.
Very short report as:
1. Nothing happened
2. Lots to do, little time

I sabotage Beijing's Apollo @ 58% -> Succes
T2: Awdghost finishes Hollywood
T3: We get a GA, I send him to takeddo to possibly Culture Bomb it
