I can't change the background of the picture I am using for my avatar. When I try with Irfanview 3.91 it seems to do nothing when I use the batch conversion. I get to the screen where I am to choose a color to make transparent, but then nothing happens. Did I miss the boat.

BTW I changed how the thread displays and got rid of the script error problem.

Do you want the background made transparent? Also you need 300 posts before you can actually upload a custom avatar.

Edit: You can also post several images in one post. There isn't really any need to make three posts when you could have put all the information in one with no loss of information...

Before you can use a custom avatar

You have to upload an avatar or provide a link before you can use it...

I have 300 posts but I can't get my own custom avatar.

logging out then logging in again, I had the same problem and that fixed it.









Now I know what the "whats your favorite _____" threads were about.

I think it takes a day for the server to update the permissions for avatars... So you could have spread out your posts a bit rather than making 10+ in the same thread...

This did not turn out how I thought it would but here it is. If you don't find one you like, I'll work on it a bit more this evening (gotta feed the rugrats...funny how they get all worked up about not eating )

Theres quite a bit of distance between where I am and Phoenix, I think I'll just stick to finding pictures.

I was hoping to make it transparent, but since it is a photograph with many colors I suppose I would have to do it one pixel at a time. May take a while.
