I would like a new avatar if anyone can spare the time to help me. Unfortunately, although I know the sort of thing I want, I don't have a reasonable example to show you.

I am an architect (of sorts) at work, and I am now designing maps and scenarios for SGOTM too. So I would like an Avatar on an "Architect of Hell" theme, particularly (though not absolutely) derived from Boticellis sketches for Dantes Inferno.

Er, can you describe architects of hell and/or provide an image because I can't find anything on google images...

You would need to look up Dantes Inferno. The reason I haven't posted images is that I don't really want a copy of a Boticelli sketch, or a Dali painting as I don't think they would make a good avatar. I just wanted it to be inspired by these images, but modernised and less "sick". If you look at the images you'll see what I mean.

Nudity? It's some of the most famous art ever created. But anyway, as I said I don't really think that these works of art make good avatars. They are too dark and too busy. I was hoping that I could find someone to create an image that depicted Hell in construction. For instance... Doom 3 has done a similar thing with it's artwork. It is dark and malevolent, but modern. In fact, an image in that style would be great, but with an architect theme.

I was bored so took a stab at some avatars for mad-bax. The first one I pasted together from several images (including a screenshot from a really awful start), the other two I found and just resized.

well, as the others have said the pictures on the website provided would be very difficult to "translate" into avatar's. I did do a google search on Dante's Inferno and found a few. not sure they are what you were looking for, but they are kinda cool none the less

as for depicting Hell in construction...I think this would be REALLY hard to do in 70x70 graphic
