This is to go with a Radiohead inspired theme I have, I think I'll turn my title and sig to:

EDIT: Bah I was about to do it myself but my Photoshop isn't working any more for some reason...damn .dll files.
Since this one may bore you maybe you can be creative and get a good pose - or even maybe make it stylized...

NP Raijer, I really like this nebula as well. Can you make it so that the inner part of the arc is completely black? Imo this will give a 3 dimensial illusion of a sphere over a cosmic background.

Just a quick note that this thread seems to have an effect on new avatars in the forums. Definitely new for old though it takes a little time to readjust to the identity of the posters.
Hmmm... that's interesting. I hope we don't start getting complaints! To be honest, I haven't really noticed a difference, but then again, most of the avs have been for OT posters, and I rarely hang out there (except for Lyonesse's Image Altering thread
).Frankly, I prefer sticking with one avatar, cuz like you said, it makes it easy to recognize someone. It's probably just a weird "visual-dominant" thing for me, but I stongly associate the posters on this board with their avatars. It throws me for a loop when people change 'em up.
Hell, I couldn't even change my own avatar! I just tried to change my current one to a GRAM,* but the new av just didn't look right... it wasn't... "me," and this was cuz I associate my presence on CFC with that war-shocked Foriegn Advisor, and probably always will.
