It was to make a vibrant hammer & sickle, on transparent background. The edges came out jagged so this is the better one so far

Plexus's is great! I am curious to learn whether or not he did that himself, not that I doubt his skills. It's just that if he did, then I'm humbled... envious, even, of the ability to use 3D applications which is a skill that has continued to illude me

It's nice to build images from scratch (i.e. Gioto currency) but I do occationally "borrow" images like the soviet medal which I found via Google

Actually, the Giotte Currency one is quite nice, but you are correct, Plexus's must have taken a bit of work . . . it is nice, though . . .

Yeah, it's a recurring problem: My (primary) editor doesn't save efficient files..
... but the other posters are nice enough to fix that

There may be slight loss of detail in the one done by vancouver but it's hard to see. I didn't check the file type but I think I can see JPG artifacts; I could be imagining it.

From experience: The optimal files appear to be PNGs created by Photoshop.
