Myst - I just tried to use your avatars and it said they were over 4096 bytes. Although I checked and they are 70 x 70.

Its possible when saving .jpgs to increase the quality significantly and the size as well even though the size might be correct.

I do a little bit of graphics now and again, and I found this thread rather interesting. I use a combination of four programs to make graphics:

MS Paint
MS Photo Editor
ZPaint 1.4
Adobe Photo Deluxe 2.0

I could do the same as Lyonesse in her origal post and put up some different avatars, and then switch them around now and again. Let me know.

If you're interested, all I did was reduce the colours down to 85. It doesn't look much different to me.
