As the Mongol tribe finally dared to look past the safety of the sea and venture into the deep and treacherous forest they quickly realized that they were not alone.
On the very first Mongol expedition the scouts stumbled upon something very strange. Deep into the continent they discovered an abandoned city of gold. They had never seen anything like it before, obviously. And they couldn't make much out if it either. The shiny material wasn't useful to them. They were looking for a good hunting ground, hidden from barbaric tribes. After a month they lost interest and left as their leader proclaimed - If it's dead it was built on weak ground. We are strength!
There were other tribes out there. But they only knew war. They coloured their faces with the blood of their foes and their eyes knew only darkness. One sunrise a group of Mongol townsfolk accompanied by only a few hunters was ambushed by the strongest of these tribes in the heart of the continent. The survivers crawled for days without sleep when the waves answered their prayers. They walked right into a group of men with long spears and skin of clay. It was the egyptians. But there was kindness in their eyes and after a meal together the egyptians agreed to fend of the pursuing barbarians while the mongols made their escape. Waves are life and forest is death. But on this day waves has reached the forest - A father told his son.
And so the age of the Silent forest began. Barbaric tribes were pushed back and trade routes were established between the Mongol and the Egypt empire. Prosperity reached new heights.
There has also been reports of another civilization outside our territory. They are thought to be far more advanced than the mongols. Their people has been seen close to our territory but so far no contact has been made.
