Onan's Speed-Optimized GMR Game

Interesting reports of events, some far flung, some nearer to home, have reached the Roman senate. A great temple's spires have risen above the fabled city of Timbouctu, and another grand monument is being built in the Songhai's second city. Closer to home, our artisans have completed Stonehenge outside Rome. And on our borders, the indian city of Vijay...has arisen overnight, claiming rich herding lands between our nations. The senate has met in special session to discuss this aggressive settling, and has decided it is justified, in light of our early settling of Antium on Delhi's doorstep. We wish our peaceful and quiet neighbors well. May you prosper with your animals.

From now on, in a period of millennium, major construction planning will halt in Egypt, in anticipating that many GEs will be born here and there, ruining any hammer spent to attempt such construction work. Meanwhile Ramsy is planning to build more small gardens on the mountains and beside lakes, to compensate the fact that he could not have the benefit of the great structure that Songhai has erected. Some important domestic works also need to hurry. Is Songhai empire still in GA?

The Songhai take great offense to the Roman's characterization of our Moslem mosques as "temples." Though the Romans wish to convert everyone to their Christian religion, our craftsmen have built a Mosque to glorify our own deity. If the Roman scouts mistaken our small huts and tents on the open plains of Jenne as a grand monument, then clearly it is with the agenda of creating more propaganda to spread fear and greed in the world.

We Songhai have cast our covetous eyes towards the mighty wonders and "victory points" of the grand Egyptian empire and just wish to emulate their success, though of course, we always will continue to be wary of the technologically superior Romans who have researched all the technologies of the classical era.

Well, if your 'small tents and huts' have the magic property of making GAs last 50% longer, then I suppose our scouts may be mistaken!

I don't think we have sailing yet...

Oh and there was a guy here who was giving away free bread and fish, but it was spoiling our economy, so we had him executed.

All the relevant technologies!

The Songhai huts have all sorts of magical properties, and perhaps one of them is to add to the happiness of our people...which ensures our Golden Ages last for a very long time!

Is it bad if I am planning wars against the players that take longest to take their turns?

I did not realize that Cotton was too common in this map . I wonder if there is anyone here who doesn't have any source of Cotton .

Chair of WTO, the great Ramsy, has analysed and announced the trading situation in his early post. Yes, the world's people will not be frozen to death for sure.

Meanwhile, how long it takes the Siamese people to get that silver supply up? Your people should improve your mining technique, and Egyptian masters would love to take some Siameese apprentices for a fair amount of tuition fee:lol: The world's nobles begin to feel tired about the golden wares. They like silver wares so they won't get poisoned by their rebellions.

MESSAGE TO ALL :

DON'T TRY TO INTERFERE INTO AZTECS LEGITIMITY AND RIGHTS FOR THE NEXT 5 TURNS OR YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED!!!

Thanks :)

Now...about cotton. I do have a copy thanks to my beloved neighbor :mischief:

Does this mean that in 6 turns you will turn the other cheek if we invade and take over the Aztec lands?

Well, there are some supplies of Fur near my capital along with a supply of Silver, but my borders haven't been expanded to both resources . Right now, there is a worker being prepared in my capital . I'm more interested in getting the Fur resource, but depending on how much desperate the Pharaoh is for getting Silver,I may change the course of my worker . By the way,how much is this tuiton fee you are talking about?

Liars! In 6 turns you don't have time to manage an attack. Try if you dare...

Pharaoh is not in a hurry, but he felt obligated to facilitate world trading. The tuition fee can be waived if Ramsy gets the first supply of either silver or fur. Ramsy would like to fund 15g for your initial capital cost of mining equipment or trapping equipment.

That's the real Monty speaking.
