I just would like to point out that ciV did a good job at one thing compared to civ4. And that is the scope of the game. The map is much more grand, and game last much longer in any competative sence. If the game doesn't crash of freeze it is not uncommon to play for 5 hrs + in mutliplayer with players who aren't noobs. And that is on standart size with 8 FFA, fractal map or so. As far as I know it wont let you launch with more then 8 players. I am looking foward to multi fix when you could get bigger games (maybe large with 10-12), since I win most times against 8.

Oh good, so at least there's an improvement in one area, huh?

...

These 'civ5 is fail' posts are total nonsense. Civ5 is a vast improvement over previous iterations in a number of areas. This is not the same as saying that 5 is flawless or even solid.

Enough with the idiotic civ5 bashing. Thanks.

I don't know, I find the AI too incompetent at warfare on most difficulties to create a fun game, and even on difficulties/random draws when the game is fun, the problem is that the diplomacy is quite broken. AI that originally were "Friendly" to you will suddenly denounce you, etc.
