Oracle sling COL for spy efforts?

don't get me wrong I wasn't trying to be cranky it just sucked losing 4 hours like that (I only play on marathon so getting there took a while)

Don't worry, i was the one making fun of myself I should have assumed a good player would have thought of that before a newbie like me suggested it.

GW->oracle is my usual build. i almost always get it on emperor (now winning, that's another stop ). however, it usually requires chopping and a limited amount of expansion. my tech order is usually something like mining, BW, msonry, myst, poly, priesthood. or sometimes myst and build stonehenge while masonry is being researched. i'd say something like 50-75% of the time i can get all three, though it's a littel tricky to get city #2 in there and all three. If you have stone then i think it should be possible to fit a 3rd city in there and get pyramids...but don't expect to have any forests left
