The request was for it to be just a tad bigger than the galley, I guess it could serve as a better ancient transport so you can use the galley for warfare, though I'll be giving it an arrow attack as an option...

Now onto... (checks his to-do list) Meso-American Ship of the Line eh? Obviously we'll need a better name for it than that. But design-wise I think I've got a few ideas going around, so I'll be back soon with some progress...

Yep, loooking forward to the Windwaker stuff, this boat will actually help alot with it, since there's alot of Meso-American influences in the Windwkare ships.

I've decided to call this ship the Cipactli (apparently it means crocodile in Aztec). I've got the main hull mostly formed, though I'll probably be changing the deck texture (might not, looks kinda neat at the moment, eh). Tell me what you thinks:

Thanks, makes sense though, I mean ships do move through water, as fish do. Really the shape is inspired by the King of Red Lions hull from Windwaker.

That's the plan! I'm thinking it'll have a few mounted on a little gold temple mid-ship.

I'm liking the design so far. For the sail pattern, could you use the serphent design like Aaglo did for his Mayan Quezalcotyl ship(orginally from Age of Empires II: The conquerors expansion).
