lurker's comment: what do you mean "slate"?

I really would like to go on with this one, but I already have played two turnsets and if I do the next one again it more or less feels like a solo game for me. I think we need a fixed roster to go on.

Wow! This game is really fun, was disappointed when I had to stop. I got two MGL's, two legionary armies, started a catapult stack, and declared war on the Maya, because those settler pairs need to be slaughtered and they look like juicy leader chances. A tactic I learned from another SG is to let another city work the capitals two cows and it builds settlers while the capital does solely military. Our two armies are going on a razing spree. We're almost playing AW, because we have to be at war with so many civs to stop settlers. But everything is under control. Only problem is a tech hole, but with a huge map and lots of opponents to kill we can pointy stick our way through.

This makes MadV up.

Edit: Btw, my leader luck hasn't been fantastic, I'm getting about 5 elite wins a turn. Started Heroic Epic in capital.

 I had 30+ elite wins in a turn in GR7 without getting an MGL. That is something to complain about(just kidding).

This game is definitely fun. I enjoyed the turnsets I had so far very much.

Like you needed another modern armor army to beat the AI spearman to win :D .

This game has definately gotten into the "fun" stage. But it's gonna be tough, very tough, to dig ourselves out of a little tech hole w/o the GL and a huge map where we constantly have to devote our core to fighting. This is why I started a cat stack, so our core could build some infra while we control the kills.

Another reminder of the rules: You are not allowed to deliberately let a civ live to avoid attacking the next on the list.
