Ozza's Mod 2.0 - New Mod For Conquests!

Sorry, but I can't do anything until Saturday I will get version 1 back up then. This is due to me being on holiday. I will get it up as soon as I can. Sorry Ozza.

The full version including 2.0 is finally up, you can finally download it from the first post in this thread.
 
Ozza, with your newly posted 'complete version 2', I'm getting error: "Unable to create enough starting locations to start game", and the game exits.

EDIT: I'm running 1.22, and I've deleted the other labels files. The mod loads, and brings up the screen where you pick your civ. When trying to continue from there I get the above error. I even tried copying the original version 2 upgrade files over the complete version, with same error.
 
hmm its wierd I had 1 e-mail about this before, yet other people get it to work, and it works fine on my pc so i am not sure what is wrong how to fix it because of this, I recommen finding out why that error that could happen by posting it in technical support forums then i may be able to see yur problem and fix it. Thanks Ozza.
 
Any chance you could send me the file labels c3c v1.22?

I recently upgraded my conquests version, but I'm missing this file for the mod.

ok but i need something to e-mail it too. Give me your e-mail and I will sent it to you, though i need it within the next 4 hours as tomorrow I go on holiday again.
 
You can get around the "can't generate enough starting locations" thing by opening the editor, loading the .biq and generating a map. Then save the .biq and start the game. Worked for me anyhow. :)
 
Well my computer with the mod on is dead at the moment and being fixed, will take a while so atm I am every now and then on my dads comp when i am round ther but have no mod files except what i downloaded, it works fine on mine tho i will look into it when i am back on my old computer. Ozza. What do you think anyway?
 
The trouble was that I couldn't find 1.22....

As for playing it... I love it... only thing is that you added a lot of wonders (16 total in the first age) to the first age, it makes the others feel barren...

To all those people who are getting the "can't generate enough starting locations":

1) Open "Ozza's Mod Vers 2.0" in the Civ3 Conquests Editor
2) Open the "Scenario" menu, and uncheck "Custom Map"
3) Save the file and load in Conquests

This should fix that error.

For those who are too lazy (;)) to follow those steps, attached is a fixed version. Unzip it into Civilization 3\Conquests\Scenarios

Great Mod Ozza - got it working by using the editor to generate a map and have played up until the modern era.

The availability of stealth units leads to ongoing covert wars between nations and makes the quiet times between wars more interesting.

One query - don't know whether its a bug or not, but I upgraded all my normal bombers to heavy bombers, after which they became useless. All my bombing runs (about 50 or so before I gave up and disbanded them all) failed.

Ended up using fighter bombers, but they don't have lethal bombard ability.

Apart from this it plays really well.

Thanks torrasque I will soon release my own version that fixes that, just im a bit ill and don't feel like doin nothing right now.
