Packard Bell Games

Just wondering if anyone remembers the games that came with the craptacular packard bell computers, quite possible their only good point. Rattler Race was probably my favorite but turning cats into cheese in Rodent's revenge was pretty good too. Anyway most if not all of these games seem to have been created by Micro$oft but I don't remember seeing them anywhere but on a PackBell, just wondering if the were included in Plus! at some point or some download I missed.

I loved those, but they died along with my PB.

Rodent's Revenge, Rattler Race and Ski Free were my favorites.

These games were released for Windows 3.1 by M$ in a package called the "Best of Windows Entertainment Pack." (BOWEP)

I'd post a download, but M$ probably still wants people to buy the thing.

I had it on my old Packard Bell machine (never again) and I would love to play some of those games again

Luckily I'm a bit of a pack rat so I still have my PB restore disk, found the right .cab (in the /weppb/ directory) extracted and I have these silly games again. Nothing quite like setting trees on fire while skiing.

Fuji Golf was fun (as far as Packard Bell games go). I used to play that one over and over.

Wow, I never realized that they were just on PB computers....no wonder I haven't seen them in years.

I will have to see if I saved a restore disk or two..
