As mentioned in the EU3 thread, most probably the first patch will lower the requirements for the video card from 128 to 64 MB. So there is still hope!
IF this works, I will offer a sacrifice to the gods at Paradox Interactive.

I have one and it ran like crap for me to. The menus did and in game somethings took a while to respond but everything ran smooth. Just repsonce time of buttons was slow.

I have a 256 MB graphics card. Only slowdown I noticed was on the fastest speed, and it was only a tiny bit. My computer's main RAM is 1024 MB.

I have a couple of questions to HoI2 players:
1. When invading Russia as Germany, I liberated the Baltic nations when I got the chance. This caused a massive increase in partisan activity in Russian provinces. Why does this happen?
2. Could ships be upgraded?

1. I've never seen this, but then I never liberate the Baltic nations until well after the German-Russian war. Are you sure partisan activity wasn't naturally increasing - you get exceptional partisan activity in the east
2. No they can't, you have to build from scratch.

1. Ah ok. Is over 60% activity normal? I didn't check it it regurarely, so it's difficult to tell if it was due to the liberating or just a natural increase.

Fun game by the way! It took a while to get into it (Playing as Norway the first time didn't make things easy
), but now things start to look better.

Hmm, I don't think 60% is normal, no. 20-30% is usually what I have without anti-partisan efforts. Not sure what's happening there.
Keep the old ships if you intend to be a naval power. They'll fill up gaps in your fleet while the newer ships do the heavy work

But the problem is that there aren't many posters in these threads. Look at Total War forum, it's very silent.

There are plenty of posters who post in these threads. Even if there wasn't, just look at how many Paradox game threads are on the first page.
Also, if you do send TF a PM requesting a subforum, perhaps it would be a good idea to add a list showing just how many users post in these threads.
For example, here is a list of people who have posted at least once in Paradox online games on the first page.
