Paradox Interactive games

HoI III is almost a given, I'd think - though it may be a while before we see it.

Though with the new, non-deterministic approach Paradox embraced with EU III, I wouldn't be surprised if the game ranges much further in the Cold War era than HoI II.

CK and Vicky, on the other hand, were both pretty extreme cases of Love/Hate titles. Whether or not we'll see them upgraded is a somewhat more entertaining question.

I missed that one, unfortunately.

How is CK in terms of gameplay? I really liek the idea of it.

It's good, with patches really good. Though the game can crash to desktop for no reason, because it's a Paradox game. Patches fix few really annoying bugs, like others spamming royal marriage offers.

And I love building dynasty in CK. Once I married a guy to his ex-wife's grandmother. :rotfl: And it's nice to see AI using royal marriages, I once saw Catalonia as Norway's land when they made a royal marriage. Then weird dyings and little male children, and Catalonia is Norwegian.

But I've heard that CK is much better as multi-player. I have to try it somewhere. Anyone of you? ;)

I have rung around numerous shops to try and find Victoria, and websites like play, amazon, and ebay. I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone know a particular website or shop or something that could stock it?

I looked on there. Only Victoria: Revolutions is on there in a single pack. Victoria is in some 6 pack with EU2, which I already I have, and some other games.

Looking for a fun EU2 game to play, and you can't decide what nation to play? Play Venice in the EU2-SG: The Vile Venetians-thread! One spot open, the fastest takes it all!

Also, what happened about asking Thunderfall for a Paradox Games subforum?

Nothing doing, probably.

I was just at the EB Games nearby, and I just happened to stumble across a copy of Hearts of Iron Anthology, containing Hearts of Iron, Hearts of Iron 2, Hearts of Iron 2 Doomsday, and Hearts of Iron 2 Armageddon.

Naturally, I bought it. :yeah:

All for $25. I plan on starting an AAR soon for you all to laugh at my ineptitude.

Maybe hold off on installing Armageddon. It contains a nasty bug which will make your game unplayable in the later stages of the game. Some AI countries start building for whatever reason 'ghost fleets' (fleets with no ship in it). Sometimes up to 100 a day. All these units will take up to many PC resources and make your game come to a stall.
However, there are people stating that they haven't experienced the bug. It's also possible that it's related to taking military control of other countries.

I'm just warning you...
