I do! I even saw it in HMV once!

Was a bit strange really, as I got my copy of HoI2 on release day, then never saw a copy again. Now I see copies of HoI Doomsday pretty regularly. I guarantee that when I actually want to get a copy they'll be sold out.

I never see it anywhere, except for once (without the expansion) second hand for about £25.

I see 1 copy all the time of all PE games, usually at my local EB.

I guess I'm just lucky.

I saw copies of Doomsday a couple of months ago at EB. I haven't seen a single copy since then. If I were to find a copy of it though, I would buy it.

I saw Europa Universalis 2 a while ago in ePlay for £3 second hand. It was the only time I ever saw it for sale. I bought it.

I'll get the demo, but I'll try not to take much from it. The HoI2 demo was terrible, and almost put me off buying the game. If it had added some of the tutorials (such as, say, how to use troops) then it may have been better. Otherwise, it was just confusing.

HoI2 was pretty remarkable in that was a Paradox game that didn't need to be patched before it was considered playable, I'm hoping EU3 will be the same.

On the main forums the beta testers have been saying it's the stablest unpatched paradox game there's been.

I must try the Demo through... I don't know if my graphics card will handle it... ( it can handle Romes map and Civ IV...)

The demo's going to be certain tutorial chapters, and a scenario allowing you to play (per gamespot) any western Nation from 1492 to 1520.

What a blow! I spent all evenig aiting for it to download, eagerly go through the installation process, click on the shortcut... not enough video memory!

What is video memory anyway?

As mentioned in the EU3 thread, most probably the first patch will lower the requirements for the video card from 128 to 64 MB. So there is still hope!
