Not a bad ideaI think we should start lobbying for a Paradox forum in Other Games again. 9 of the 45 threads on the front page are Paradox threads. (20%)

I played Galciv for a year, civ III for 2 years and civ IV for about a year, on top of that Im currently playing WiC, was playing CoH before that and Supreme commander before that, Morrowind before that and Im always playing oblvion. I disagree with the blanket assumption. I liked the game, but there just wasn't anything to do really, there wasn't a fun economic model like in Gal civ, and the warfare and pace were just drab. I would like a game thats complex, but not mind numbingly boring at the same time, I thought civ and Galciv were a great pace, they always had something to do, in EU I just found myself mindlessly sitting there a lot.
What nation did you play as? If you picked some remote nation, like native americans, it's not surprising if it didn't happen much. Anyway, I'm a bit surprised that you didn't like EU, when you like games like civ and galciv.
You might want to try Hearts of Iron, based on WWII. Then there's always something to do, I can promise you.![]()
Unless you pick another really small or poor country![]()

Fair pointNo! Don't like the idea at all, I barely remember to visit the Total War forums now that those threads have been separated.
Thanks, now I'm considering buying HoI II: Doomsday...
Victoria is great! Takes a while to get used to though!Actually, forget that. I went and bought Victoria off GamersGate last night, so I'm busy learning that. I'll probably get EUIII off it too in a while.
As I said in another thread, with EU3 I relaly reccomend waiting for the next expasion before getting it.
Because it looks like quite an add on!Why ?
