Well there's the obvious two exploit fixes with Rationalism and Starving cities.
There's the less obvious exploit of RAs getting fixed. I know it will slow down the game at higher difficulties, I just wonder how much it will slow down the AI. I'm sure they got overflow, heck probably more than I do, but they also don't take take paths that intentionally produce a ton of overflow.
I would have loved to have seen some religion tweaks. Piety doesn't "really" need a buff, it's just getting a religion should go to the people who are actively investing hammer and gold into getting it up, not bumping by luck into people who built a whole 1 shrine and got lucky because of a mix of Pantheon and Exploration faith.
Edit: To be clear on this point. I think that both the amount of random faith (CS/Ruins) AND the post pantheon faith should be looked at or simply just changed or removed (Desert Faith and Stone Circles being by far the worst offenders). Perhaps also look at the whole pantheon cost thing too (perhaps making it a fixed slightly higher amount) so there is some measure in how standard getting a pantheon.
There's a subtle patronage buff I rather like. Mixed with the RA "nerf" which will slow down the pace of games it might add some good value to other policy trees.
Pillaging buff I like. G&K was a little rough to any melee approach to the land game.
Everything else I don't mind other than the "fall" release.
Oh and Maddjinn, I call shenanigans on you knowing a lot of these ahead of time! That or someone at firaxis watches to your LPs. Battleships losing the city bonus and Ironclads losing 5 strength. Good changes mind you, but you call those almost word for word in your Carthage LP.
