Patch updates

Important note - old-format save games will not neccessarily work across DLL changes. ALWAYS make max-compat format saves before upgrading to ensure you'll be able to continue.

How do you do a maximum-compatibility save? I didn't see anything that looked like an option to do that when saving a game. Thanks.
 
I have noticed that I no longer have the either / or option re compatability when saving the game. Has this option been removed from the recent builds ?

Yes, i decided what the heck, C2C needs only Max Comp savedgame changes and with Koshlings help/expertise it made stuff 50 times better this way.
 
Hi there I just downloaded the latest DLL file and when I came to load my game it gave me this message "The save file you have selected is protected to ensure the assets in your mod folder.":mad:

That means that you checked the "lock game assets" in the Game Options in the Custom Game Menu. That is a bad idea in C2C, and the long and the short of it is you'll need to start a new game.

Oh that sucks.... guess I'll have to start again. You guys have a great game though I don't think I have ever played a game for this long before.

Version 22 is out

28 Mar 12, 1:00 a.m.

WARNING for people with mature games from earlier versions, that after upgrade you are likely to be overrun with crime (unless they built a lot of the buildings people mostly used to avoid before). Capitals and large cities will quickly head for 1000+ crime levels due to lack of crime fighting (that WOULD be there in a game played under v22 from the start), at which point they will more or less be in a state of effective revolution and probably incapable of building the crime fighting buildings until half their population has died off.
 
Great news about v22 ready for us. I will wait till I finish my first game playing c2c, I am playing warlord level but with the settings I am using it is quite challenging.

You rock man, everything anyone could ever want in a Mod is included in your awesome mod. ;)
 
Oh, before I forget, some of the minor civs names are not displaying correctly. "Mongolian Empireof %s" is an example of the error, I saw 4 civs with this typo, thought you might want to fix it! :D

Fixed that one about a month ago. It's fixed in v22
 
Latest SVN DLL attached. Use ONLY as a last resort with V22 XML, as there is a signifcant chance it won't operate correctly with that XML. However, if you have a crash that is not addressable any other way give this a try (nothing to lose)...
