It's nice to see all these flags waving.

I've been bringing my Canadian flag to work for a year now...and although my flag base cracked...I continue to fly my flag.
Today I noticed that 5 or 6 other prople have started flying flags at work. It's nice to see so many people proud of their country.

On a related note it's totally discusting to see people waiting at intersections, with arms full of flags, trying to sell them to motorists that are stopped at the light.

Anyway.....

Not to mention all the wankers selling t-shirts that say "I survived the attack on america"

i find it to be a nice flag, although i'm not a huge patriot.

Come on! These are the cornerstones of America: Patriotism and Capitalism. :p

Here in Italy I don't see anybody ever fly italian flag, except for when Italy football team wins during European or World Championship
I see only flags of football teams.
And if you go to the stadiums, you'll see a lot of foreign flags, like Jamaica, or Palestina, anyway, unusual countries; or you'll see flags with Che Guevara, or hammer and sickle, or, if of the opposite politic orientation, celtic cross.

Hmmm. The Flag. I love and respect it, but I don't feel as if I have to wave it to prove that I'm a loyal American. I have nothing against folks who wave their flags. As far as I'm concerned, everyone has the right to show their patriotism in a way that suits them best, as long as we don't hurt or insult others while doing it.

Awww, Miko, did you have to do that??? I'm no rabid jingoist, but, man, it hurts to see my country's flag done like that. I respect eveyone's flag, and would never dream of dissing anyone's flag/country/culture, no matter how much I may disagree with their views.

Although I am a rabid Scot,

I feel no complusion to wave any saltaire to prove it!
I have a heart of steel and thats what counts...

We are all humans!!!:goodjob:

Hey sw99, I think your flag is upside-down! :D
