The reason I want a restart is that my island is well over 50% mountain and that is not good in anyone terms, so if this will not restart, then I will quit this game.

I will keep the current game going, but if you want i can "respawn" the game on a less dodgy land type. I was thinking along the lines of Pangaea, 70%, Large, average climate/age/temperature. Yes? No?

Yes. And I haven't even seen the whole Island and I know how bad my lie is.
I have offically retired because of the terrible lie. Here is the Island that I started on.
So you think this is a great place to start. Notice the Volcanoes and massive mountain ranges on this island. There really would have to be only five or six sites to settle on, and they would be very close together.

I am happy to join in a new game - the restart for Classical.
However, I sense (or recall) that some players have good positions and want to continue.
And we have invested a fair amount of time on this.
So I am relatively happy to continue this game.
I am happy to do both.
If it is a case of either/or rather than as well as, I will go with the majority.
If some of us are continuing, perhaps Classical could send me the save.

Also, if you want me to set it up I'm happy to do this.
I read recently about some Moonsinger utility Mapfinder that somehow can give you reports on random maps so you know all positions asre roughly equal. I wouldn't mind trying this.
