So these 2 Japanese axemen on sentry duty were watching the to-ing and fro-ing of the Greek army outside the city.
Suddenly one says Hai, look yonder, That looks like Alexander the Great going for ablutions in the bushes accompanied by his valet. It couldn't really be him. Could it. So they creep closer. And yes there he was squatting besides a banner saying Alex the Great.
They simply could not forego the opportunity and attacked. The valet defended well but was wounded and fell to the ground. Alexander, if it was him, pulled himself together, and came to his valet's defence, He fought valiantly and killed one of the Japanese axemen but fell mortally wounded to the axe of the second soldier.
Collecting the banner, the axeman ran back to the security of the walled city, with this tale to tell.
