A Greek envoy was received, requesting peace. He was returned unharmed but also empty handed. The Dromon attacks continue on the Greek coastline, but again they are unsucessful.

I am on holiday for a week, and I have sent you a mail with an alternative email address. I can still play my turns during this week.

Newly built Greek catapult damages a Byzantine Dromon, while an already 3/4 Dromon is sunk by an Elite Greek Galley.

The Greek Army shall prevail against this unjust, unprovoked Byzantine invasion!

The sinking of the Byzantine Dromon is swiftly avenged. While the victorious Greek sailors still celebrate their success a second Dromon approaches unnoticed, and unleashes a deathly breath of fire. The cheers of joy are quickly replaced by screams of terror and the galley is consumed in flames before sinking slowly.

The seas, once again, belong to the Byzantines

btw, I would really like to thank our German and Byzantine friends, who apparently just entered the Middle Age. This wonderful act managed to set off 2 barbarian camps, resulting in an onslaught of barb horses attacking my hoplite/settler pair. Needless to say my settling plans have been delayed several turns now.

After the needless slaughter of a peacefully exploring Warrior, the Byzantines offer peace to the Greek nation......but only after a final bombardment of a Greek Warrior who was stupid enough to stand on the coast while the Byzantine Navy sailed by.
