Last week I found an affordable copy of a rare PC Game (Star Trek Elite Force II) selling on eBay, but prior to placing the bid I noted the format was listed as "PAL". I've been trying to find out if this would cause a compatibility issue: would I be able to run such a CD-rom on a PC manufactured to be sold in the United States? (Which, presumably, would be designed to use NTSC formatting.) I ask because, though it is too late for me to win the EF II auction, I've spotted another bargain...but again, it's a PAL cd-rom from the United Kingdom.
