The Brazilian war theme is just fantastic, for those who didnt listen already, here it is:

And here the original version, one of the masterpieces of Tom Jobim, Chega de Saudade:

Of course Im very happy to see Brazil as a civ, but I wonder why there`s no Brazilian Great Works ingame? Its kind of weird that the country is portrait as a culture powerhouse but dont have a great musician/writer/painter on the BNW list. They even could choose Tom Jobim and Chega de Saudade..

Moderator Action: Fixed that. Thx

Isn't one of Villa Lobos pieces in game? Yeah, not a whole lot I know, I think they should have added at least one for each type of GW as long as the country produced it.

BTW, that theme is BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oner of my favorite things about CiV is how the leader themes (usually) take some culturally significant music and modify it to fit in with the game and to be an epic war theme. Both the original song and the Pedro II war theme are awesome.

Villa-Lobos' "Choro nº1" was probably discarded, just like the Motherland Calls wonder (and probably for the same reasons). Which is a shame, he'd be the ideal choice.

Well neither Greece has a Great Artist or Great Writer, Phidias (the architect of the Parthenon and Sculptor of the Statue of Zeus) and Homer would have been nice inclusions, but I suspect there was no space on the list :(

Don't have the game yet, but just wanted to agree that the Brazilian war theme in BNW sounds very bad-ass. Kudos, Firaxis.

Really, no Homer? How extraordinary.
