Perpetual War - An Elimination Strategy Game

perpetualwarmap.png

Sorry the map isn't bigger, but Imageshack reseizes it...

It's always fun to always be at war. At least, I hope that's what you think, because that's what this game is all about!

14 states in the Americas. 16 in Europe. 22 in Africa. Countless in Asia.

There is no real participation. Instead, every country uses 5 attacks over the course of a turn, and as time goes on, states are eliminated.

What humans do is vote for countries each turn. You have 5 votes, and can distribute them however you want. The countries that receive them can use these votes to increase their rolls. Battles over a province are simple - a roll between 1 and 25.

This can hopefully be amusing. A very easy to understand, easy to participate in battle to the finish!

Let's begin! :)

Updates will come every 24 hours, and anybody can chime in.

Well, just because 28 people viewed but weren't interested doesn't mean I don't have to be...

I give all 5 of my votes to Germany.

interesting. i vote for.. *drum roll* Byzantium! all five points.

you all can shoot me later.

You can count the ones in Africa but not Asia? The crap?

I give all 5 points to the Confederacy.

the OP isn't vague to me. i understood it completely.

5 points to blue America.

Also, the OP is very vague and unclear.

...you give 5 points to one(or several) of the countries on the map, and they use those points in their combat with eachother. Simple.

It's not meant to be complex at all; basically it's like SuperBeaverInc's Ultimate Showdown but far more barebones.

I don't understand this.

Instead, every country attacks 5 others over the course of a turn, and as time goes on, states are eliminated.

The countries that receive them can use these votes to increase their rolls. Battles over a province are simple - a roll between 1 and 25.
Are attacks just arbitrarily decided?

Well every country is at war with eachother, like in Risk.

Every country attacks others as they see fit, and it goes on until only one remains supreme.

"Every country attacks others as they see fit"? Who controls the countries? We're just voting to give them better rolls...

Yes that's the idea...

Nowhere is it said that the rolls determine whom attacks whom...

And you still haven't answered my question. HOW IS IT DETERMINED WHAT FIVE COUNTRIES EACH COUNTRY WILL ATTACK? Random.org?

Whatever feels right at the moment. Not very hardcoded.
