Chas - just found an email from you in my spam box saying ... "How are you doing? we had a visit to London,U.K unannounced some days back, Unfortunately we got mugged at gun point last two nights."

    Was that real or spam?

    Ruff thanks for your concern,
I was working Monday with a last minute client and my cell phone just kept vibrating one call after another. As you have seen, I was being mugged in London. What a surprise. I went to my yahoo mail and all my contacts were gone (375 or so) and I had a new email address in there for me. HACKED; don't know how but I hurriedly went about fixing what I could. I think all is in order. Now I have a new, safer address. I have been busy fixin this. Only those that had my yahoo got it. My other emails are safe

    Congratulations, Chasbolt.

I made Dan Quayle level, and sent the save on for all to examine.

It was interesting watching the replay. I got out to a flyer but then my protracted North South war with Zarquon really slowed me down. Tell me Zarquon - if I had pushed just a little harder when I got frigates and removed your iron city ... did you have another source of iron available or would that have been game over for you?

Well done Chas on your victory. Good game all ... but I am very glad it is over.

    Errmmm, hard to remember.
Yes, there was only one source of iron.
But I think when I retook Mainz (iron city) from you I did it with muskets, so I was without and beyond iron at that point - ok no knights....
Had you kept Mainz, I had nowhere to go, but that enabled me a stepping stone to take a very few further east cities.

Yes, you were very irritating, I recall that much :D

As in a point I made earlier...the 2 most dangerous players were neighbors; thankfully they went to war so the rest of us survived. :) Thanks!

Ozy said he sent the turn along so we could all get the victory/defeat screen. Can somebody send it along to me? I want to see if I beat Dan Quayle.

I'm Warren G. Harding! Woot, better than Dan Quayle. Good game all. I see Ozy and Ruff were doomed to fight it out so early. I was destined to be alone for a long time due to too much water between me and others, but it also prevented me from expanding. Well done Chaz on expanding and conquering.

There were 2 Warren G Hardings awarded. A proud stat

Again it was a pleasure replacing Deztro. I learned a lot about war in [civ4] from Masters Ozy and Ruff. I will finish my commitment to my other CiV games as I move to [civ5] wher I have installed the [GandK]. I may not be so active there as I still get "Steamed"; 4 was an obsession whereas 5 not so much...at the moment
