For that real Carthaginian feel, raze a city and then settle one tile inland from it.
You don't even have to move your capital first, per my testing. It just bizarrely doesn't apply immediately.
R version is Colonial offices (didn't test taxes since it's much further up the civics tree) and Casa De Contracion do work if you move the capital before putting them in. Actually Colonial offices will work either way, but if you have Colonial offices slotted when your move capital project completes it won't work. You will have to remove the card, then put the card back in (I did it the subsequent turn). Casa de Contracion I could not get to work if I built it before moving my capital, but it worked just fine if I moved capital before this finished (it's okay if it's in progress).
I'm not going to play them again any time soon. But the policy cards did work before, but sometimes you would have to switch them out then put them back in. Casa only worked before if you switched your capital before building it (on your original continent). Presumably it now works even after you switch your capital after building Casa.
. My q is, is there an easy way to see where Phoenica's capital is?? My dumb butt left her as the last civ I have to take so now she's in the modern age with a million settlements pls help, I can easily nuke the **** out of her capital if I can find it :x
The domination game is the only victory achievement I have yet to get. So here I go random leader, random map, only way you win is domination how can that go wrong?? the computer gives you phoenicia on a islands map that's how. My q is, is there an easy way to see where Phoenica's capital is?? edit: I'm nuke happy Ghandi yes that's a HORRIBLE setup for a domination game... but it's just prince dificulty so I made it happen... and I've pretty much completed the tech tree so![]()
