I guess the clock is there to test your patience, but has actually a fake AI inside that will spy on you and ping FXS every time you play HK or ARA and not Civ VII, swap your game keys randomly and hinder your Internet connection as a result...

I would buy the Physical release, if it had a Game Boy Color DEmake of Civ 3.
IN a gameboy classic cartridge factor. Or GB advance.
And it would have a massive poster with all the units in the game.
And another poster with the whole civilopedia.
And a Collection of the editing maps of the entire civ franchise on a single DVD, with an export translator mod
that allows you to use all of the created maps in the new civ V 7 release.
And a library with all the units, buildings, leaders, etc assets in 3D cad ever released to this day, so that anyone can use them to make custom scenarios.

Something unique. Something useful. A clock maybe, as a bonus, yes.
I like keeping time.

Looks like there will be a Collector's Edition as well.

ty, def, ty.
Why does the Physical release has to be that expansive???
Can we opt for a cheap Chinese clock with a vague resemblance to an actual clock,
a couple of recycled paper posters, and a cheap CD-DVD librarian copy of the tools for editing the game
plus the Vanilla edition and nothing more??? Jeez... 270$....

This might be a stupid question - but a "decorative clock" is actually a proper functioning clock, right? It's not just an ornament or something?

I like the fact that they are offering the Collectors edition. I am tempted on getting it. I do like that you can get it without the game.. if you just want the base game and not founders edition (which is probably what I might to). I like having some physical items that go with the release.. and the items are not bad. Maybe a better reference book might be nice. Sure the price is high.. but I think it's a pretty decent offering. But that's just me.
