Anyway, France. Not too sure why we're worried, seeing as those province in France are simply a buffer zone. Offer them a province, or stay protected behind the Channel where we can build up another army to counter with.

I, of course, shall be staying firmly in Britain, but I do wish the Generals who are travelling to the New World luck. And if they could send back some of that nice tobacco stuff.

Defend Finestere with a suitable number of transports in the Channel in order to pull the troops out in the event of rout. If we could just keep an army in Brittany just long enough to help us bide our time until we navally attack Armor, we will be fine. Once we establish a majority of troops in North France, we can march over to Normandie, Maine, and Caux in order to force a White Peace (Or we could annex some territory to further set them back.)

I don't know the specifics, but you would have to manually change it in the save file.

To colonise India, Britain would have to send troops to India as it is completely occupied by the Indian states. Britain needs as many troops as possible fighting the French. Also it's very unusual for a Western European nation to have discovered India by then unless they went searching for it on purpose.

I think we should abandon Brittany. If we want to form an empire on mainland Europe, then perhaps we should look at conquering land in Germany.

Retreating is a viable solution if the only other outcome is total defeat, and I won't have the Generals hanged for speaking their mind. If the King doesn't believe we can hold Brittany, then we should not attempt to.

However, I concur with Tycoon that we could perhaps fall back to Finestere to await reinforcements, or perhaps my own plan of surrendering a province or two now, then return in a future war to reclaim Brittany.

we could have Aragon join our alliance possibly, however they would still stay neutral to this war unless the french declared agian, thus why I'm not sucking up to Burgandy for the time being

The war was originally declared by Norway upon us, possibly because they've grown tired of owning a navy, either way france and Denmark followed the alliance they had with Norway and are now at war with us and Portugal

we would really lack the supplies to carry out an invasion of india, our ships would most likely fall apart before we found it and if they didnt they would most likely sink on the return trip stranding whatever poor troops we sent over

Whoah slow down! We only recently discovered North America! And it's only like 1500 CE, we don't have any maps past the Middle East.

Which reminds me, we need to discover the Carbbean before the Spanish!
