heres something i found rather frightening
heres our income, its currently in a decline and we're already losing to most of our european neighbours
thankfully our inflation is also in decline... among the lowest in europe
and finally our costs.... my main question is, when our army takes over 143.5 last year, do we really need something that big?

we currently have a support limit of 64.... so that would mean we should reduce to how many?
Lord High Admiral Kal'thzar advises that we will want to build up a Navy to about 8-10 Carracks in Europe, witha transport fleet of 10 Cogs. The Colonial fleet is of the approximate right size, although building 2 further Carracks would help.
This will be very expensive, but we should aim to have this size of fleet in 5-6 years. And once massed we can chase small french fleets, destroy them, and hopefully capture them! It will also allow us to transport a decent sized army to attack targets such as Norway or Denmark. Also, once built, ships are cheap to maintain so it won't cause a drain on resources.
Typically in EUIII naval affairs are not too important, as the British it is of greater importance, maybe JUST approaching pairty with the army.
I also advise a very cautious approach to Naval matters, ships don't go to 0, they sink! Very irritating [Typical display of British anger].
How many divisions do we have? How many of those are mercs?

edit: they later surrendered, the terms were for 50 gold and to release Oldenburg or something like that.....
I couldnt get them to agree to be a vassal
only france is left.... normally I wouldnt want the land from Norway but I figure they started this whole thing and I would love to see their economy crippled, so therefore what isnt British will be left to Sweden, who happened to declare war on them

It's Elementary...
Kind of those Swedes. If our army is not capable of challenging France at the moment then I think we should focus on the colonies.

good we have destroyed france's allies now lets just start a colonial empire and france will be nothing!
In peacetime we could have a 30,000 man army. Most would be exploring in the New World, of course. For the rest of this war, keep our troops. Just try to phase out mercenaries from the entire scenario; they cost too much to be usefull in long-term engagements.
Good job with Denmark and Norway. You should try to have a dominant naval force over there along with the navy around Britain. If you can regulate who comes in and out of that waterway, you will be in very good shape (I recommend that you wage war on Denmark in maybe ten years and capture the provinces at the mouth of the waterway. They should give you a fair trade bonus that would very much benefit our nation.)

Remember that the Native American nations, being Pagan, can be annexed in one war. No need to get them down to one province.
