3) I got a better Idea, lets go to south America, and see if the Brotherhood of Mano still exists in the 1500's
I'll only agree if I were to lead the expedition.
#2 with a twist;
If we are to declare war upon the Native American heathens, then there should be a three force prong.
1) A force from the North drives in and captures territory, it will attract enemy forces Northwards...
2) Then a second force will sail in and land at Florida and push upwards. It can capture several Southern territories and perhaps decommission a country and force it to be annexed...
3) And a final strike will hit their flank due to a naval landing and oust any forces that would try to rush to the aid of Southern or Northern allies.
Perhaps this would be overkill, but you honestly shouldn't underestimate the natives.
Once we annex these three states, we could send some merchants to the Mexican CoT and give us an economic boost so we can make some towns and build forts in them.

The war with the Creek, Cherokee and Shawnee was the roughest war the Governor had seen, despite their inability to push into British territory they used the advantage of knowing their homeland to the point of forcing the British soldiers to chase them across South BNA
first, the Shawnee feel rather easily since their allies didn't have enough time to rally their troops to save them, however by the time General Prince ordered the invasion of the creek it became clear that one commander over the entire invasion just wouldn't work, therefore General Princescamp, Tycoon and e350 all took command of their own armies and chased the damn creek and Cherokee across the land.... finally a new plan was developed to allow the Cherokee to rapidly expand while shrinking the creek until they were annexed, with their allies destroyed the Cherokee were easily crushed and brought under British domain
Blue marks the original border, we also gained Alabama as a COT
furthermore... The King had no idea as to how to handle the Shaman Natives... as taught earlier in the Iroquois lands it was extremely costly and ineffective to convert them to Christianity, however it seemed much most cost effective to accept the Shamans into the British empire and hope they shut up

yes, as a governor you're not eligible for Military awards, however you received the best among civilians
