Pirates of the Caribbean

chester you have baited me with pirates

i'm not sure whether to curse your name or give you imaginary internet points

wanna give me an internet? if you want, you can give me one here :
Yes, I am SteveGreg

Before I forget, I hereby name my flagship as Der Jayakarta.

And if that wasn't enough, my game's unhistoricality doesn't even compare with Age of Empires 3. The hit PC game has Ottomans bashing a Maltese secret Order for ownership of an Aztec relic in Florida. And later on, cowgirls and renegade workers fighting the French over remnants of a Spanish Treasure Fleet and immortal Scots. So even if my game has a few flaws when it comes to historicality..... don't complain. At least not yet.

You forgot the Russian invasion of the Thirteen Colonies propounded by the evil governor of the Carolinas being stopped by the coalition of Native Americans and English gold miners in the Rockies. As AoE III was one of my favorite games, I have no intentions of complaining about historical accuracy in this game.

eh, "naming" a flagship was thought in another sense of the word. Say that you somehow bought a Galleon and you already have 3 brigs. Your flagship thus far was one of the brigs, but now that you got a FRIGGIN GALLEON, you'll make that your flagship. But you'll have to mention it, otherwise the brig that was your flagship until now will remain your flagship, and if it goes down, you lose the galleon too. You should always choose the strongest ship you have as flagship, since stronger ships have lower chance of sinking/getting captured. The flagship also has a bonus to attack, so it's better to change your flagship whenever you get a better one. Your flagship does not automatically change to the better option, since some may want to use another tactic: having the second-best ship as flagship, since the strognest ship will always get the most damage. Others may find themselves with negative relations with most nations, emaning they can\t enter ports. The only way to reset relations to 0 is to actually get sunk so it can be a life-saver to just put the weakest ship as flagship and attack someone stronger than you. Capiche?

Yup, that's what I figured. Nonetheless, I noticed someone else had named their ship and thought I'd do the same (for no reason other than fun.)

Ships have almost always been named anyways, especially at this time.

V2_Pirates_of_the_Carribbean_IOT_seazones_map.png

As struggle betwen Spain, England, France and the Netherlands intensifies in the Caribbean Sea, pirates begin raiding, thus posing a threat to everyone.

Two new English conscripts leave the Governor's mansion in Cat Island. They are Cyprian Hacklett, (1) a Corsair, and Edmund Blackadder (7), who wants to be a Trader.

Meanwhile, in Biloxi, trader Catherine Favreau (3) boards her ship in hopes of becoming the best trader.

In the Dutch Port of Eleuthera, three more captains receive their first ship: Adriaen Hendriksz (4) and Paul de Graaff (2), both Corsairs, and Captain Flagg (8 ) , Trader.

The Spanish port of Port-au-Prince doesn't lack recruits either: Diego Rodriguez (6) a Corsair, and 'Moss Head' Zorro (5) , the only Pirate Hunter in the area.

====================================
Everyone can see only their nation's Admiral patrolling the waters near the port. No other ships in sight right now.

Please post portions of the map with the direction in which you want to go.
