I see someone else has gone for the 'piracy = compying DVD/music' approach:goodjob:

Would you steal a handbag? NO!
Would you steal a house? NO!
THEN WHY ARE YOU STEALING FILMS???!!

I was always impressed by the girl on that advert, she found a site that downloaded films to your PC in under a minute!

Because it requires no physical effort. To got out burglaring means you're up half the bloody night. Even if you decide to do a bit of breaking & entering you still have to hang about waiting for everyone to leave.

Stealing an actual house takes an enormous amount of effort. Possibly a crane too.

My ansestors were pirates. We sunk the English.
Shame you didn't press home the advantage and go on to conquer a third of the world. France should have had Sweden's help at Trafalgar rather than trusting those pesky Spanish.

Oh the irony!

lmao, just like once I was watching a pirated copy of "National Treasure" every so often these massive bold words would appear on the screen saying "Copyright protected, do not reproduce this material etc". That was so ironic to the point of hilarity.

Copyright theft denies expected profits to the creators of the works. If you don't think that the actors/directors/etc. deserve to be paid for their work, then don't watch it.

It's still theft.

Agreed. I reported my local video store for renting out home view only DVDs. :mischief:
