Platyping's Python

Edits:
Gigapack and Megapack: Updated with changes and new additions
Added Wonder: Pyramid of Niches
Banaue Rice Terrace: Swapped Artwork with New Rice Terrace model by Hrochland, the original model is used by Machu Picchu
Traits: Fixed error in Change State Religion
Traits: Removed Industrious Trait test codes under onEndPlayerTurn
Traits: Changed Imperialistic Trait

New Imperialistic Trait:
Add 2 Great General points per turn during Golden Age

Imperialistic Trait has to be changed because any Trait affecting Team rather than Player will not work correctly in games with multi players in same team.

This is also a loophole I noticed in some Tsentom's Traits as well for those who are using.
Example:
Seafaring Trait adds 1 naval move point, but it is applied to team not player.
A Team with 5 Seafaring players will result in all 5 players having 5 extra naval move points because the benefit is applied to the whole team 5 times.

Thus, I remake Imperialistic Trait, and gave its original benefits to Pyramid of Niches.

Will have to edit some wonders and projects as well to address this multi players in same team issue.
Magellan is definitely one of them I can think of.
Lazy now currently... still enjoying my break and buzy with work

hey platyping, i released a bunch of shanghai wonders, i can't do the tower you requested though, converting it simply didnt work:mad:, i did get the financial center though :D also plan on completing Tomorrow square in a couple days, maybe 2 more or so then im going to bundle all of my shanghai buildings into one download. Any other shanghai wonders you can think of? Hope this is enough diversity for you:p

Still on lazy mode, not making new ones, unless on request.

Priority 1 is to look through existing ones and see which have to change for multi players in same team games. All of them will work correctly in 1 player per team games, but i can forsee some problems otherwise.

Then adjust asset n power value to BTS standard.
Then add civilopedia links

Version 1.7

This version is mostly to correct inconsistencies in "multi players per team" games.
If you are only playing "1 player per team" games, then some of the changes are redundant.

General Changes
1) Adjust all Asset and Power values
2) Merge all buttons into an atlas for Megapack and Gigapack
Spoiler :
Buttons.jpg

Large Hadron Collider:
Changed to check team instead of player

Magellan's Voyage:
Affects whole team properly

SETI Program:
Changed to check whether team instead of player has Great Wall
Activates once per SETI team per turn rather than once per SETI player per turn
Adds a check to see if there is a usable plot to spawn barbarian aliens
Changed Force Peace message to global

Swords of Qadisiyah:
Fixed iTeam and pTeam2 undefined

Added veBear and dacubz145 to list of Artwork Credits

Anything looks delicious? :D

So far, Serpent Mount caught my eye but dunno what to do with it.

Your Seed Vault still in production, because I have an idea what to do with it, but not really pleased with the side effects.

Most likely will make Singapore Flyer next, intended to make London Eye, but since London Eye no longer the biggest ferry wheel, might as well make Singapore Flyer.

East Indies Trading Co. is up next as well, but looking for artwork

Hi, platyping
how about new wonder/project reducing minimum distance between cities (from 2 to 1)?
Default settings are set in globaldefines MIN_CITY_RANGE. They can be changed using the wonder?:mischief:

(sorry my english is bad)

@ Golden Gate Bridge, I'm probably going to attempt to do some artwork for that, since the current one isnt even the righ color
Also do you think its possible to changeit so that its the closest bridge? I do not get why its the farthest, since it only goes over the San Fran bay, not he pacific ocean...

Can be done, just the opposite lol
Just thought it looks fun lol

Edit:
Zuiderzee: Changed variables to adjust to team
Via Appia: Applied to whole team as well

Eden is the only one project left that applies to just the player

Can be done, just check if same area.
However, I choose to apply to whole team for all projects because I realised when I try "multi players in same team" games, when a world project is built, it is announced as:
Alexander/Mao Zedong/Lincoln has completed the Via Appia!

Thus, I felt it seems reasonable to apply all project benefits to all players of the same team regardless of who completed the project.
Eden is the only one left which I still deciding how to apply, because the original tsentom1's Eden was applied to all plots of the player which was too OP.
Now I changed it to apply to just the building city, but if I want to apply to whole team, for the other members, it is either apply to their capital, or random city

Just that city? That seems a bit pointless doesnt it? Chances are you build projects around big citites/capitals and chances are all of those plots will be complete by modern era. The cost of the project is equal to 15 workers, 15 workers could improve that in 3 or 4 turns.

Overall I would like to see a different bonus. If you want to keep the improvement part, possibly given to a couple cities that need the most, or improve all types of a certain terrain? Or allow all terrain to built improvements (so dessert can build farms)

Eh, I think you are mistaken about Eden powers.
It does not add improvements whatsoever to the plots.

It changes the terrain to more fertile terrain.
Desert to Plains, Plains to Grassland, Ice to Tundra etc.

Doing that nationwide is OP to the extreme

That is the original wordings, although it does make sense as it literally improves the terrain :D
Now the only consideration is what to do for the other team members.
Capital seems a good choice since that is the most important city.
Random city might end up choosing 1) an island with no plots to improve 2) border city where the plots may be taken over by culture or the whole city conquered in war.

Of course I can add restrictions for random city choice like minimum 5 land tiles in city radius, but so far capital seems good enough

I get the thing for the text with teams, but for me just to unrealistic for somewhere else to get a bonus that is 100% strictly based on where it is built

What do you think about turning it into a wonder? I could possibly come up with art for it, and that would fix that problem

Hmm sounds good to me, although the name is "Eden Project", reading the information it definitely sounds more wonder-like to me as it is referring to buildings
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eden_Project

By the way, any idea what the Angel of the North is supposed to do?
I read the wiki but still dunno what is the purpose of it lol

Comment in my Travel Through Time thread and right @aob at the top, he lives near it, so he will probably know more then wiki and definatly more than I

some other wonders i would suggest that I've done:
Chinese-Russo Bank building, possibly renamed "International Bank" be built in two different civs, then some type of gold bonus between the two, and if possible it could be renamed once built depending on the description of the civs (if america/germany builtds it, its name is American-German bank)

Fishermans wharf, some bonus with fish??

Tomb of the unknowns, some type of bonus (cultural?) given when you loose a unit via war outside borders

Singapore Flyer
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0004-1.jpg

National Wonder
Collects admission fees!

1 gold per population seems OP since in a decent late game, you would probably have 20+ pop per city, if you have 20 cities that would be 400 gold, so only 0.5 gold per pop

This is actually London Eye's artwork but since it was overtaken by Singapore Flyer as biggest ferry wheel... might as well
