Play the World first Screenshots!

I think the Spanish, Vikings, Carthaginians and Mongols are all dead certainties. I also regard the Celts as being one too, so I hope they won't let me down! ;)

It's in Pic #1. Here is an enlarged image of that Viking unit.

Why do you say that? We've been informed that the game screen are cheated together.

I do not understand what that has to do with anything, what I`m saying is that having 5 in attack the spanish will win almost every battle, and they get to have the best unit for an entire era, because you get it in the beginning(chivalry) and lose it late(with military tradition)

And if you play thamis`s europe map, you will find that the spanish are well off simply because of their geographical position

Looks great. :goodjob: I have a question though: What is meant by 2 new terrain sets? Does that mean we get all new terrain? Or we get some blank terrain sets and we add our own custom terrain? I am hopelessly confused.:( :crazyeye:

I wouldn't worry about text allignment yet. :) The expansion pack is far from completion.

So the Chartagians are in it too!

Hmmm... did anyone notice they're playing turnless??

Anywayz, i can't wait.

Spanish UU will replace knight. i bet. No way itz gonna be horsemen. hope they release details slowly.
YAY!! :)
get ready for some :die:

Another thing... it looks like the max number of players in MP is 8. The MP setup screen has 8 player slots.

Mongol rider guy with two spears behind back looks stupid. :)))
And stupid name for UU - Keshik.
Mongols was great Bowmen - 'Mergen' and great Riders - 'Nuker'. Great feature of Mongol army are speed, manouvrability
and 'All Terrains As Roads'

I wonder what the "Keshik" replaces. 4/2/2? The closest unit with that A/D/M that I can think of is the knight, but it's 4/3/2. Maybe it's just a weird bug. And yes, it does look stupid.

The Mongols should have the Rider instead of the Chinese. The Chinese could have the Junk instead, maybe like a caravel replacement with carry capacity of 4 instead of 3 and an A/D/M of like 2/2/3 or something.

I expected the conquistador to replace explorers and require saltpeter and iron with an A/D/M of like 3/3/2 and cost more shields than a normal explorer. But they turned out as some knight guy carrying a spear with a dog beside him. That's pretty sad.

And that Viking UU, it has a frickin' huge axe! I wish they could have included the info box so we could see what it's called and its A/D/M.

A 4/2/2 might be a good special version of the knight if the base cost was cheaper.

That is one thing that the UUs don't mess with already - cost. I could see that being inlcuded too.

One question. Why?

Myself, I expected the Spanish UU to be a red-leather clad minstrel that costs 17 shields and has an ADM of 1.3.4 and requires uranium and is really cool and wins lots of battles and gets lots of chicks and adds 11 gold per turn to your treasury and...........:p

The Spanish UU is a conquistador. They rode on horses. Why does this confuse and disappoint you?
