Please, help me with Perl...

Lately I've been making a submission form (using Perl, which I am learning as fast as I can) so that you won't have to send me an email for the GOTM, but can simply fill in this form and press "submit". Easier for the players and easier for me. This is how I will see all the results from you then:

Name: Matrix
Email: matrix@civfanatics.net
Score: 271
Date: 1375 AD
Ending: Conquest Defeat

The only trouble is what to do with the savegames. The best thing would be to make an extra field where people can select their savegame (still zipped ) and when submitting, the savegame will go as an attachment. But I don't know how to do that. This module might help me, but I have no clue to use it. Does anyone know how to program in Perl? I've attached the Perl program with which I'm sending an email, but I don't know how to use that MIME module to send attachments with it. Please help.

Well, I haven't programmed in PERL for maybe 6 mos. now so I am at a comlete loss for words. I did, however, e-mail the chain of command so I should be able to help you in a few hours/days.

But I still have much learning to do. The only way you can help me on the moment would be to make the Perl script for me; completely.

Ok, I almost have a script done. Look for it done around midway through february. I have been racking my brains out with it and I almost have a complete working version. I hope to be done soon but I am not sure on a final date yet. I also added a little comment for personal posterity into the coding(hey, i cant go unrecognized ) Anyways, I am going to sleep now, I hope to have the file done soon. Maybe it can be used for this GOTM but definately by March's GOTM it will be done.

Feh, you should do it. I was working on it but I lost everything I was working on and completely forgot all about it. Besides, I'm really rusty in PERL right now and it will give you a good chance to show off
