PM Character Limit

3000 characters? That's way too short. I ran into it a few times already, just because I was quoting what someone else said...

Is there any way to rais ehtis?

I think it should be raised to 5000 or so; that sounds like a more reasonable number.

Delete the quotations... Obviously, you know them by heart if you have over 3000 characters from a pm.

You could use CFC's upload feature and just link to the text file in your PM. If the file contains more than 3000 characters, privacy is secured...

I like to have them because my PMs usually have several differnent points in response to different points. For example in a current PM to someone we're talking about 4 different aspects of something, and it is nice for the other person to know which one you're talking about easily...

5000 is actually vB 3.0's default PM Character Limit...
