--Pokemon Game Thread--

Old news... The Japanese are getting the whole new world with them whole new pokemons in it

Just a hint, you can catch budews second from south of hearthhome city, which is way easier to do than making budew all happy wiht poffins until he decides to stop being a stubborn jerk and evolve(again, like the gyrados thing, I didnt know you could just freaking catch him)

lol. Worng quote.

I already have Soulsilver, but the problem is that its too easy. I have all 16 badges!

This is my team:

Typhlosion- Lv 58

Gyrados(Shiny)- Lv 52

Amparos- Lv 47

Lugia- Lv 58

Rayquaza(Shiny)- Lv 100

Swampert- Lv 85

What do you think!?

It doesn't have to be difficult to be fun.

In fact, that's part of the reason that G/S/C were so fun in the first place. It didn't really matter what you trained, you'd still be able to go through the game without requiring annoying grinding to be able to beat gym leaders/the elite 4.

Legendaries in you main team? Well thats uncool.

Too me, Legendaries are super-powered up. Which make them "easier" to win battles cause they are so much more powerful.

My HeartGold team

Acranine
Steelix
Feraligater
Lanturn
Dragonair
Gengar

All Level 52-53 as of now

I just got SoulSilver and right now I only have two Pokemon I really use. Flaaffy at lv. 24 and Quilava at lv 26. My last major action was beating Whitney, but the battle was more problematic than I had imagined and I think I need to diversify my team. Still nothing I have seen yet has seemed too interesting to me. What are some good Pokemon I can get in the Illex Forest-Goldenrod-National Park area?

I just found the original red in a local shop! Am playing now!

HeartGold is now mine. Just hit Goldenrod, team looks something like this:

Bayleef lv. 20
Geodude lv. 19
Slowpoke lv. 11
Mareep lv. 9
Zubat lv. 5
Sandshrew lv. 6

Geodude is probably going to be replaced eventually, but right now it offsets Bayleef's weakness to...well, almost everything so far. I love Slowpoke and want to have his childrens. Mareep is probably going to be replaced by Jolteon. I was thinking of getting a Crobat, but I like Weezing more. Sandshrew is my HM whore at this point.

Just got heartgold, have yet to play yet!

Meganium, Golem, Jolteon, Hitmonchan, Honchkrow, Slowbro

FEAR IT

There are Vulpixes in the Route after the Park, but you already have Quilava.
Drowzees and Abras for you to train as good psychic pokemon.
Scythers from the Bug Catching Competitions are good.
If you like a good strong Attack-Base Pokemon, there are Nidorinoes Male for you to eventually evolve into Nidokings.
If you have an Old Rod, go to the lake in Ilex Forest to catch a Poliwag. It will take time though. Its like 95% Magikarps and 5% Poliwag.

Though, once you defeat Morty, a whole new range of Pokemon turn like.
Lapras, Chinchous, Shellders, Krabby, Red Gyrados are all available.

The pokewalker is freaking cheating! Ive only played the game itself for an hour and a half, but I have a level 23 hoot hoot becuase of the walker and connecting and reconecting him back in and out

If you're using a Noctowl, the only thing you are cheating is yourself.

I just play for fun, I was never into playing to win really or have the best pokemon and EV train them all perfect and junk. I did that when I bought pearl and realized that thats not even fun.

EV training can go to hell and die. I agree with you, I was just saying that Noctowl sucks because he does. It frustrates me so :(

Ya, actually like, most of my parties base stats are below 300, but its the ones I want and have fun with so its kinda like what ev. And I dont really like EV training either, but at the same time playing competitively would be boring without it.

I wish they made zombie pokemon, all this fainting is just silly... DIE ALREADY
