Well I reserve the right to change my decision when more information is released but I'm currently leaning towards the Pan-Asian Cooperative.

Firstly because science. And secondly because, when combined with the fact that I'm going Supremacy, I might be able to pretend my nation is in fact ruled by glorious leader Kimiko Ross (from Dresden Codak).

definitely. But the poll launched at a time where we didn't knew much about any of the factions apart from origin/territory. So people might have just gone with where they felt at home. I'm looking forward to a new poll once the other factions will be revealed.

Why no love for Pan Asian Cooperative?

For me it seems the most powerful of all factions (obviously I am talking about lore and geopolitics, not gameplay
- on the other hand PAC is strong at science, production, culture and energy, I am really the only one who thinks this is perfect set? It is going to be weak in religion, diplomacy and military. Personally I never really care about military in empire simulators and we don't know anything about religion and diplomacy)

Also, I wouldn't be astonished if American Reclamation Corporation won ('Murica) and I completely don't get why Franco - Iberia and Slavic Federation are most popular.

- We don't know almost anything about those factions
- Hey, Brazil/Kavithan Protectorate/Polystralia are way more original
- ...really, so many French/Spanish/Portuguese/Russian people are here?

I like to take my time with my first choice of faction in any Civ game, studying the pros and cons of each and all the available info about possible strategies, upsides, downsides, etc. So no preference as yet, perhaps not until the game is out and I can look at it up close and personal.

Um... Don't know about that. Is there really so many people who pick factions according to their origin? I'll probably pick Franco-Iberia because I'm intrigued.
