EDIT: How would you like a new version, on a Huge map but including all the coastlines on both sides, all of Australia, and European explorers to screw everything up? Sound like fun? If so, post!
Playable Civs:
Native Australia
Tonga
Maori
Hawaii
Rapa Nui
Dvipantara
Tahiti
Nonplayable Civs:
British Empire
Dutch Empire
French Empire
United States of America
Spanish Empire
Chinese Empire
Japanese Empire
Russian Empire
Perhaps the Europeans will start with crappy city locations and no exploration boats. That should give you some time...
/End Edit
I have created a large map of the Pacific Ocean.
With only 7 civs, there will be lots of room to expand across the many small islands.
Civs:
Native Australia
Hawaii
Maori
Tonga
Easter Island
Tasmania
Japan
All ocean tiles are coast, to allow for early exploration with Galleys.
All civs start with Settler, Warrior, and Galley.
Ancient and Classical resource requirements will be satisfied by your home island, but advancing requires expansion!

EDIT: Wasn't experienced enough to reserve the next post. Damn! Anyway, I'll do another edition as soon as I see it's worthwhile, got a modest goal of... 20 downloads.
EDIT 2: New version is OUT! New pics on download page.
Changelist:
Made changes to NZ as suggested by General Olaf
Added more resources everywhere
Added Pacific Northwest coast civ: Kwakiutl (Ethiopia, perhaps inappropriate...)
Made NZ more mountainous
Fixed southern coast of Australia
Slightly nerfed Japan
Changed "Easter Island" to "Rapa Nui"

EDIT IN EDIT: Screw this. Mediafire:http://www.mediafire.com/?wgz6vsr9g1a5uw5
Next version I may ocean-isolate some groups...
Huge version definitely to come.
Along with standard for lag-tastic computers.
EDIT 3: Trying to make it a mod, but civ says it is "wrong" on startup. Duh. I just deleted half the civs. How can I get this to work?
