Been having a fun game with the Elohim, Corlindale had been on the frontlines dominating reinforcements for me. but the Hippus Stack of DOOM just caught up to my forces and as a result of the combat I am invariably having a unit withdraw and moving my entire stack with it.

Unfortunately Corlindale doesn't move with the stack and there is no mention of his demise in the combat logs so was wondering if this is intentional

Until Corlindale gets Strength 1 (so he does not defend before hawks and workers against assassins), he's broke. Giving him an artifact just to prevent him from defending before hawks is weak. The AI not using a single assassin to kill him = exploit (though the current AI is pretty good about that - occasionally putting a simple, cheap and gaurenteed [excepting the artifact trick] end to him, see OP). Of course, assassins immune to fire or death will still target him before hawks or workers.

But domination is SO awesome, isn't it? Getting it before strength of will is pretty strong, if fragile. Balseraph druids are also early domination and hold up much better than Corlindale, especially with Kithra and his suicidal chance-to-defend base.

ps. Welcome to CFC (and, hopefully, the "Mind PWNS!" fan club) :)

wouldn't the +1 holy :strength: from the bless promotion work also provided you keep non blessed 0 :strength: units with him? Because I noticed during a recent Altar game i did that the Alter will give the blessed promotion to him and that it at least shows that he has 1 :strength: . Now if the spell could be used also is another story

their's a related discussion in the elohim strategy thread, essentially you can use lichdom or flesh golems to resolve this issue, both of which require a relativeley short detour into the arcane tree.
